Deer Proof Fences, Orchards, Yards and Gardens In the hill country, one of the most frustrating and expensive discoveries a new resident will experience is damage to property caused by deer. Spend money on landscaping, and they will literally eat up your money. Beautify your property with spring and fall color, and they will eat it right down to colorless, over and over. The most effective answer is to deer proof your yard, garden or orchard. You can also deerproof a 1/2 acre or full 1 acre enclosure around your house and yard, and include room for orchard or garden within this compound. We can do the toughest part of the job for you, which is to dig your post holes, and holes for planting. Or, we can apply our experience with deer proofing and do the entire project for you, including post holes, deer proof fencing with gates installed, irrigation, and planting. This gives you a turnkey ticket to immediate enjoyment of your property, yard and garden. The building process is not not a simple one. It begins with drilling holes for the posts, usually in fragmented rock soils, sometimes in solid rock. Once this is completed we can begin the deer proof garden and orchard project. We align the posts properly, and set posts in concrete. When the concrete has cured, we stretch the wire around the corner posts. We use a tractor to stretch wire because it give us a tension that we can not get with hand held come-alongs. We specialize in building deer proofing
